In the star trek (especially in the new movies):

-WHY it's always the high ranked officers who risk their lives to do the hardest infiltration missions
-How comes a ship as big as the Enterprise (even as exploration ship) doesn't have a specialized COMMANDO team for infiltration missions?
-Ok, since the high ranked officers always want to play the hero, WHY they often get equipped with a single stupid pistol that can fall easily? Why not using big guns too?
-How comes with all these technological advances they don't use military ground remotely controlled drones.

Because it is held true of the original TV series launched in 1964? There is only so far an imagination can stretch :)

Star Trek was a huge step forward for all sci fi - sometimes if you change a good thing you can ruin it. The show worked back then, and for the most part it works now in the current movies. Especially if you grew up with the original show.

At least this is how i see it.

In the new movie, people transport between planets. Once you do that, why do you need spaceships?

How about the BEST illogical move of them all?

If Spock's actions created a parallel universe because he changed the past, why is EVERYTHING about Star Trek that was existing BEFORE Spock's arrival so vastly different than original cannon? Um, that part of the timeline was untouched. At least, if you believe in linear time. If Spock's time travel really just resulted in punching through to a different parallel reality, then why should Kirk and (young) Spock ever be friends? Why should any of the traditional crew ever be on the Enterprise?

I suppose so they won't just teleport to a planet where the atmosphere causes them to swell till they explode, or burst into flames.

In all fairness you probably can only teleport between settled and civilized planets that have the infrastructure set up for teleportation. Like we cant take a subway train to antarctica, or to the amazon jungle yet. So you still need a ship to take you to a new uninhabited planet ( like we need helicopters or boats to take us to ellsmere island).

For the same reason they were all on the ISS Enterprise in "Mirror, Mirror" - it appears that they're fated to be together, on a starship named Enterprise.

There is something to predestination, after all.
