I watching Star Trek DS9 rerun on tv.

I always wondering why starfleet jut not lured Borg cubes to Gamma quadrant, so make Borg win the Dominion War for them

I asked the writers this once, and they just threw glitter in my eyes and ran away.

That would certainly be a great idea for a possible Star Trek series.

Well, the Borg sought perfection. I doubt the Dominion was "better" or more advanced than the Federation.

So long as the Borg were willing to leave the changelings alone, I doubt they would want to go forth to dominate the Borg.

Keep in mind, whichever side won would likely be all the more a threat.

Oh, and Borg home space was in a different quadrant. I don't think Starfleet had an easy way to get the two to meet.

The problem is that the Borg are a much worse threat than the Dominion. They wouldn't care about any war between the Dominion and the Federation, nor are they interested in any alliances either except when it will benefit them in the short term. The Borg are more interested in perfection and try to work towards that by assimilating other species. So, once they had assimilated the changelings and had "won" the war for the Federation, they would just continue to assimilate all the people on every planet belonging to the Federation and possibly assimilate every species in the Gamma quadrant. Trying to lure the Borg into the Gamma quadrant, even if they form some kind alliance with Federation in the short term and help them win the war, is just too dangerous.

Borg win due to technology and numbers.

The Dominion wont even be able to reach the Borg, but the Borg can reach them via Transwarp.
