I never even knew a live action version even existed. I grew up with the two cartoons.

I enjoyed that movie, though I wished they had stayed closer to the source material.

I watched the animated series too and actually downloaded it onto my iPad from Amazon.

Really? I know they have to do changes so it's not 100% predictable. Frankly, I'm glad some of them were made. The TV series was really juvenile and (well) stupid now that I look back on it.

Overall, I think they did a good job compressing all of Season 1 into a 2 hour movie.
