I have been skinny my whole life so far, and i have always had this thing, that i am sure a lot

of aspies have, which is, not likeing certain textures, or tastes/smells of food, therefore never

trying new foods, during mostly childhood, and most saddeningly, having a VERY limited diet.

FOR EXAMPLE: as a boy, my diet for the longest time, consisted of french fries, PB &J

sandwhiches, pizza, bread, an occasional apple, and sweets always. Surprisingly, i am still

alive. I seemed to just outgrow, what seemed like an eating disorder, any other aspies have

this same thing going on, at some point in their life, most likely childhood?

Not me, I'm very well fed.

I was very thin as a child. Even up through my Uni years I was thin, no matter what I ate. Thought I'd stay that way, but lo and behold, around the age of 25 I started thickening. Since then I have gone through times when I put weight on easier than I could get rid of it. If I could find a picture at age 14, I'd look like a stick figure.

I too, was your size at 17, fortunatley I have filled out some, but I think I will always be skinny. Once I got up to 170 because of lifting weights. Even then I still loooked skinny. I think if I had kept going and got up to 180 or 190 I would have got my foot in the door and looked non-skinny. Unfortuanatley I stopped lifting and lost over 30 pounds over a few months. Now I am 160 and am going to the gym again. I am 21 now

When I was in my first year at university, I lost a lot of weight through not eating, even though I was in catered halls of residence - for a while I was surviving on one meal a day (which usually turned out to be a ham & cheese pastry slice, a big bag of Skittles, and a bottle of Sprite).

This led to my mother thinking I'd escaped from Belsen when I came home.

I used to be a very bad eater. Actually, what I ate in itself was okay health-wise, but I just didn't eat a large variety of foods. Now I'm a lot better and I actually enjoy trying new foods from time to time. I have no idea what they'll taste like, but I might just find something I enjoy. There's so little risk! Right now, I'm 6'3" and about 155 pounds. I suppose that's fairly skinny, but I feel healthy, and that's what matters.
