Idk if it was my upbringing or what, but I seem to watch things after people loose interest in them or they have been off the air. This tends to happen more with video games, but I have also been on a movie watching binge as of late, since I can now do it without my mom badgering me. Right now I am on season 3 of Breaking Bad, and I am loving it, as sad as it is :D .

heck yeah. i go on huge binges.

when i got netflix a couple of years ago i watched the entire Xena series nonstop for days.

then i discovered the office and watched THAT nonstop from begining to end.

same with battlestar galactica.

and countless others.

i genuinely love my video time.

My husband and I do this. We sometimes overlap on our marathons and then it's wonderful but usually we are out of synch. A good friend of mine who has HFA also does this.

It is just like "where have you been all my life?" I feel that way especially with video games, since there are not as many good games anymore. The only thing I got on board with was Argo. Other than that, it is after the fanfare.

I have to do that. My husband and I have different tastes in TV shows and can't afford to go to the movies.

Not so much with the binges, but when it comes to discovering shows long after everybody else has already jumped off the bandwagon... oh yes. I 'discovered' Buffy in 2003 when there were only about 4 episodes until the season finale. I subsequently watched the re-runs from season 1 onward, and was totally hooked. I 'discovered' Neon Genesis Evangelion in 2009 or so. Et cetera.
