What does a half naked woman have to do with a fish sandwich? I find this to be an insult to my intelligence. Is anyone else offended by this?

Too commonplace to be offensive anymore, sadly. Sex gets attention.

Every time I see a commercial that exploits the female body, I feel manipulated. And it steers me away from that business. Regardless how commonplace it has become. Well, I should say a commercial that uses sexuality to pimp its product, male or female, but this, I find exceptionally disgusting for some reason.

I don't care for Hardee's/Carl Jr's food, nor am I crazy for cod.

Unfortunately, sex sells has been the mantra in the advertising world since the beginning of modern advertising.

Unfortunately yes. I don't know why it still disturbs me so much. Luckily, my small village has no Hardees or Carl Jrs, but cod is aplenty in all the other joints. It must be the cheapest fish for restaurants to use. I am a salmon man myself.

I think haddock or tilapia may be cheaper than cod. Personally, I prefer rainbow trout, brown trout, croppie, large mouth bass,haddock, flounder, salmon, crab and shrimp

There was a similar commercial with Paris Hilton on top of a car a few years ago.

Not a fish person here, just shrimp, crab, and occasional lobster.

That must have been immediately after the release of her "sex tape" that made her known to the world. I don't remember it. A commercial using Paris Hilton would instantly deter me from using that particular product.

The last thing I want to think about when looking at a hot women is fish because it makes me think of a smelly coochie & that ruins the whole commercial for me
