Has anyone seen Hayao Miyazaki's last movie yet? It comes here to Finnland tomorrow and as a huge Ghibli fan, I'm of course going to see it. It just feels a bit bittersweet, Studio Ghibli has been my biggest special interest since I saw Princess mononoke in 2001, and now everything is going to change.

Not yet, but I plan on watching it when it comes out.

Had been meaning to see this, as it will play for a one-time viewing next week at a film festival in the Netherlands, but alas, my budget doesn't allow for it this month. :? Maybe some later date.

Awaiting the DVD as I have the feeling this will be a difficult watch and not the family-friendly movie Lassetter mistakeningly billed it as.

well, family friendly and family friendly. It isnt scary, like Nausicaa or Mononoke hime, but it deals with pretty hard core issues. I'm not giving the plot away, but the end is really sad. When I watched it las friday, the whole audience stood up and clapped when the movie was over. I don't know why, but that got to me big time
