I just want to point out that I enjoyed the movie a lot. It's defiantly one to add to the blu ray collection. But here's the thing, people are saying it's the best of the MCU or the best Marvel movie of 2014 or the best Marvel movie ever but I don't think it's any of the three. Now don't get me wrong I do like the movie and I'm sure I'll be watching it more in the future but I just like some of the other Marvel movies more. In the case of the MCU I think The Avengers is the best and Captain America: The Winter Soldier is my second and I think I would put Guardians of the Galaxy as my third or the first Iron Man. I think maybe X-Men: Days of Future Past is both the best Marvel movie of 2014, maybe even the best movie of this year so far and probably my favorite Marvel movie ever though it's either that or The Avengers. So to sum it Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the best Marvel movies ever made but it is to me not the best one. If you think it is then then more power to you.

I'm not sure if I'd rank Guardians Of The Galaxy as the absolute best Marvel movie either, though it was certainly up there.

I finally got around to seeing it today... It was really good, but far from the best Marvel movie ever.

For the year, I'd rank it 3rd, behind Captain America 2 and the last X-men movie.

I might have ranked GotG a bit higher if they hadn't turned Zoe Saldana green instead of letting her be her sexy, sweet caramel self.

I saw GOTG with my family on opening weekend and we loved it! :D

I thought the interactions between Rocket and Groot were hilarious and IMO, Groot was like Chewbacca from Star Wars. I also thought Quill was relatable, along with Gamorra being an Aspie-like character.

Was it the best Marvel movie and better than The Avengers? My family and I all agreed that even though GOTG was a great movie, it was not better than The Avengers.
