The Danish Poet and other animated shorts , plus , Wondercon

I saw the " Academy Award Nominated Shorts " short cartoons program , in a theater , which included the Oscar-winner for animated short , " The Danish Poet " .
I liked it a lot , other shorts on the program , as well . ( I am putting the bare bones up here . Hopefully , I will receive some interest/response , and I will say more later on . )
I am at the Wondercon comics convention this weekend , up...um , down ???????...here in San Francisco , all three days . I've combined these two subjects , as this machine is VERY SLOW ! ( And , I'll be spending 20 dollars up here in this Internet cafe...Not just on posting here , in general , I mean...And I'm missing the evening films program...Ah , well ! !! !! !! )

I had the oppertunity to go to Wondercon but only for Sunday, and I turned it down because none of Sunday's programs on the schedule interested me. I guess all the movie stuff was on Saturday and Friday...it stinks because I'm a total film geek and would have loved to see some of the footage I heard was there on Saturday.

...We almost coulda split ! !! !! !!
I ended not going on Sunday at all , I was feeling kind of tires and their security was kind of pushy ...Much of my interest was for " older " comics stuff , the Mark Evanier and Scott Shaw! panels , say .
I was saving money , and ended up not going into the dealers' room at all .
