I've just re-watched an episode of "Waiting for God". Even now, I pick up on the odd detail I've never noticed before.

*Fawlty Towers". I think I've noticed most bits in here now. Offhand, quotes that are permanently embedded in my brain: "Let me explain", "Yes, yes, I know, yes...." "I've seen more intelligent things that have died and sunk to the bottom of a pond" (or whatever the detail of that was - Sybil talking about O'Riley), "I know nothing! Nothing!". "Don't mention the war" "We're right out of Waldorfs".

"Dinnerladies" (which Digiguide (XP) insists on pronouncing as if it had three "d"s).

"Police Squad"

Many others, I suppose. Those are just the ones that spring to mind. I don't think I've seen "Red Dwarf" more than three times.

Not exactly, but I've seen, more or less "The Young Ones" and the "Blackadder" series over and over that many times. Dunno about any other series, watched from top to bottom, over four times....

the young ones,
red dwarf,
space above and beyond,
blackadder,
survivors (the 1970's bbc one where almost everyone dies of a plague)
trailer park boys,
puppets who kill.

Ive seen all of the above many many times and could still go back and watch them again. When my life has turned to crap I'll go to one of those shows and watch them back to back till I feel better.

The last 2 are more recent addictions but still managed at least 3 viewings of an entire series.

On thinking... I join Quatermass with "Young Ones" (plus owning the Spectrum game) and "Blackadder".

Plus... I forgot... "The Prisoner" - much more than 4 times - except for one episode. I taped them all, except that one evening, I came in early, and decided to tape the episode while watching it, plus edit out the commercials. Baaaadddd mistake. Some time later, I re-watched them all, and found that I had a party political broadcast, etc, with bits missing - TV right channel, VCR wrong channel. Idiot!

I suspect I've also passed four for H2G2.

Keeping Up Appearances. I must have watched certain episodes at least twice and one three times-and they're still funny.

Star Trek. TOS, and Voyager mostly, but only because I don't own the others.

Firefly I've watched all the way through a few times.

I think I saw the original Star Trek episodes (all of them) so often I can quote the lines along with the actors doing their lines on the screen.

Other than that, hmmmm, the Robin of Sherwood series that the BBC or someone produced. Starred Michael Praed. (?) They didn't make nearly enough of those.

I´m surprised that nobody hasn´t mentioned the simpsons. Now that´s a show that has replay value. I´ve watched most of the older episodes twice or three times and I still laugh at every D´oh! I hear in it. :D

For me, it has extreme "noplay value". I can't watch it without being intensely irritated by every character.

In fact, I'm trying hard to work out if I've ever watched a whole episode. I know I did "give it a chance", but for a long time, I've had to mute the sound and mainly look the other way or defocus, when I'm waiting for something to come on after it.
