As I sift through channels on the idiot box trying to find something to fancy my ears while I read up on history, I happen upon Comedy Central channel. Reno 911 is on. I know that this show is suppose to be funny, but, I find nothing of the sort that tickles my funny bone.

Does anyone at all find Comedy Central worthwhile?

Smithers - I now spend my days drinking cheap scotch and watching comedy central.

Dr. Hibbard - Oh dear god!!

Speaking of Simpsons... On right now. Yea!!

I don't have cable. :D Waste of money, I'd have to agree with my mom on that one. Anyways, I've seen some things on Comedy Central. Most of it sucked. Any movie that I've seen on it is OK, but all the shows are perverted wastes of time aimed at mindless teenagers. If I felt like wasting my life, I'd consider getting cable and watching it. But, there are so many better things to do with your time.

You should watch at least 5 hours of Comedy Central each day. That's the minimum and you are encouraged to watch more if you can.

One show: The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart. The rest is pretty much garbage though.

I like a lot of Comedy Central.

South Park (My favorite show. Period. Been watching since 1997)

The Daily Show (Love it)

Crossballs (I don't know if they still do this show but it was a hilarious fake debate show making fun of CNN's crossfire)

Crank Yankes (I will at times watch and get laughs out of this. For some reason I find prank calls hilarious)

Mad TV (Can be funny at times)

Insomniac (Sometimes I'll watch this when really board)

Reno 911 (Same. And it can be funny at times)

Movies (Sometimes they'll play a good movie)

Ben Stiller Show (Sometimes they'll play reruns. Its a hilarious early 90s variety/comedy show with Ben Stiller)

I do not find their standup comedy or any stand up comedy funny for some reason. Its just lame.

Comedy Central is one of few channels I actually will watch. I am not a TV person, I am a radio person. Thus I do not watch much TV.

The news, TWC, MTV (When they are playing Music, Andy Dick Show or Tom Green Show or Jackass), MTV-2 (Same as MTV), MTV Hits, Fuse, VH1 Classic, VH1 (When they play music), TV Land (Occationally if a good show like All In The Family or I Love Lucy is on) PBS (Mr. Rogers), Jerry Springer Show (If I have nothing else to do) sums up what I watch, IF I even bother to turn the TV on.

I like South Park, The Daily Show. Hmmm...not much other than that. Do you get BBC America? I've noticed that they've started running episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus. That is a bit more of a high-brow type comedy show.

We don't get Comedy Central in the UK, but any channel with South Park and Monty Python can't be all bad. 8)

edit: I see Monty Python was on BBC America... note to self - read thread properly before replying...

I'll give the daily show and south park thumbs up, but all their other original programming I don't like.

I do like the Hollow men, it's like a compromise between MadTV, Kids in the Hall, and Monty Python.

I love Comedy Central. I tend to like comedy in general, however.

Some of their stuff is lame, but I like "Insomniac," "Reno 911," "South Park," "The Daily Show," and I get a kick out of a lot of the stand-up comedians. I don't watch any of it on a daily basis, though, because I get bored with most TV.

The comedy that I can't stand are stupid shows like "Everybody Loves Raymond," Seinfield," "King of Queens," and most other sitcoms. They're just friggen stupid.

I often watch Comedy Central. I like South Park, the Daily Show, and most of the stand-up.
