American Girl Doll Videos (AGTube)

I have recently gotten back into watching American Girl Doll videos on YouTube, like I used to.
Some videos are stop motions ( basilmentos is amazing),
while others are basically like TV shows and movies?only the actors are dolls. My favorite user is girloftheyearstudios.

Most people might think it's stupid or juvenile to watch people play with dolls on camera (still not sure why dolls are considered 'childish'), but I actually prefer watching AG videos to actual TV episodes. I don't watch TV anymore, and I can't think of a TV show I ever got hooked on, but there are plenty of AG series that have captivated me.

I actually have 9 American Girl dolls myself, and used to make videos on AGTube. I quit because I wasn't really good at it, and although I still enjoy the videos, the AGTube community was (and probably still is) plagued by drama stirred up by tween girls. I kind of outgrew the community. I'm more aware of plot holes, awkward dialogue, pacing, and character development issues than I used to be, but I'd still take AG videos over any TV show out there. The weird thing is, I actually prefer seeing dolls 'act' than actual people. Maybe because American Girl dolls have kind of been a special interest of mine for a long time (it has faded and resurfaced several times over the past 4 1/2 years.)

Now I'm anxiously awaiting girloftheyearstudios's episode 7 of 'Sisters in Black'.
