Any x-men movie fans here?

Hi new to this site just wanna know if any of you guys are fans of the x-men movies and if so which one is your fave and also are you looking forward to x-men apocalypse coming out?

I am. I couldn't decide on a favorite, but I am excited about the next one.

Same here I love all of them and I hope apocalypse is good too I hope gambit is in it like the rumours say because he didn't get a big role in origins.

Yeah, I like most of them (looking at you, X-3)...

I think my favorite is either X-2, or First Class.

i only like the Last Stand, cuz my friend was in it...and another friend was in the latest one. but my fav xman is jean grey. i despise logan cuz they wrote it so that he's the "hero" in every movie, including his own spin offs. i was ok with him before all of this. but the point that pushed me to the "despise" part of liking him was when they wrote that HE kills Jean. i like the second xmen movie the most because of the fiery phoenix they were going for.

Sort of... I like wolverine (and Rogue) and if the other x-men are kicking around fair enough but can live without them.

Really liked Days of Future Past but will wait for the extended Rogue cut next year before buying it and yes, looking forward to Apocalypse

I'm an X-Men movie fan. Fox has done a relatively good job with most of them and Oscar Issac will play Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse.

It's hard to say which X-Men movie is my favorite, but for now my favorite are
X-Men: Days Of Future Past and X-Men: First Class.

I like them all as a whole, but some suffer from terrible character development and/or overload. The worst two, in my opinion, are "The Last Stand" and "Origins: Wolverine". I don't blame directors Brett Ratner or Gavin Hood, but those entries needed much more work than they were given. "The Last Stand" should've been pushed back by at least a year, after Singer's departure; doing otherwise resulted in a horrible mismash of conflicting ideas and styles. "Origins" was better, in my opinion...until they effectively flushed it down the drain by turning Wade Wilson into Weapon XI. It was like "Rise of the Silver Surfer" all over again, with Johnny using everyone's powers to beat up Dr. Doom. I also didn't really see the point of Dominic Monaghan's character; he served very little purpose besides giving Victor someone to kill. The Blob was funny for about 5 seconds, but ultimately wasn't worth much beyond that.

When Byran Singer abandoned "Last Stand", it tells you what he thought of the script and no amount of script doctoring was going to fix it. The whole point of the X Men movies was people different from the normal population who are shut out of society because of their differences. So one group of Mutants want to get their revenge on society while the other fights to be recognised by the wider community while keeping the beligerant mutants in check. So why spoil the theme of the movies by introducing a cure for mutation? That's not the point of X Men. X Men isn't about a disease taking over the world. That's been done before with the book "Legend" which was turned into various movies.
If that's not bad enough "Last Stand" has to introduce the big battle scene at the end where all the villains are either killed off or cured and our heroes are victorious. Just so stupid. Complete idiotic movie made by Hollywood money men for a gullible public.

Singer's departure was very last-minute; he actually participated in most of the pre-production stuff, before WB offered him Superman. The idiots at Fox didn't want to invest any more time or money, so they grabbed Ratner and kept going full-steam. I think the film has some good moments, like Bobby fighting Pyro and Kelsey Grammer playing Beast. But so much around it was chaotic, which Singer tried to fix with the ending to "Days of Future Past". Right now, the general idea is that most events from the previous films still happened, just a little differently. For example, writer Simon Kinberg says that Logan has his metal claws in the altered future, but since we saw Mystique save him from the river in 1973, those circumstances were altered.

Singer was only a producer on "First Class". Matthew Vaughn directed it.

Here's how I would probably rank them from best to worst and yes I am looking forward to Apocalyse, though probably not as much as Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War which come out the same year.

I haven't bought "Days of Future Past" yet, because I'm waiting for the Rogue Cut's release next summer. As for other Marvel-based films, I'm most excited about "Captain America: Civil War", "Avengers: Infinity War", and "Inhumans". The new "Fantastic Four" is destined to suck, though.
