As you can see this is what Cap may look like in the upcoming sequel and I gotta say I'm pretty mixed about it. I prefer his traditional costume. Maybe he'll wear more than one suit in the movie or maybe this will be the suit he wears all the time and to be honest I wouldn't really mind on one condision. He has to wear his more traditional costume in the next Avengers movie.

I like the costume kinda but then again I don`t really care about the costume. I liked the costume in the Captain America and the Avengers too. Oh well, if people don`t like the costume, it is at least better than this:

Hopefully, the new movie is good! :D

Yeah, the costume in the first movie and The Avengers was better in my opinion.

My favorite version of Captain America's suit is the one from The Avengers, because I think he looks very handsome in that suit.

I loved that he went back to his old uniform at the end of "The Winter Soldier", though I did notice a small design difference. The red vertical stripes are part of the fabric in that suit's midsection, while the first film had it all-white with Steve's armor straps serving as reddish-brown dividers. Also, there's an extra red line right down the middle, compared to his suit from "The Avengers".

Chris Evans has gone on record, saying he preferred the "First Avenger" uniform over the design from Whedon's first movie. That's what led to the redesign for "Winter Soldier", which seems to have been slightly updated for "Age of Ultron".

The new costume looks like the Marvel comics SHIELD uniform. If that's the intent, I don't like it; makes him look too much like he's working for "the man."

Are you talking about the blue and silver SHIELD uniform from the start of the film, or the patriotic one from the museum exhibit? The first one was purposely based on a similar one from the books, while the second was an update from the original film with some minor "Avengers" nods thrown in.

As for Steve being employed by "the man", its important to remember he's an unashamedly patriotic character, seeing that trait as more of a virtue than a vice. However, his main allegiance is to the values America was originally founded on; if those in charge go against that (as Pierce did with HYDRA), Steve rebels.

Sue, he's unashamedly patriotic - and everyone should be - but sometimes that means standing up for the right thing, even if it brings the patriot into collision with his government. I see Martin Luther King very much in that light. I think Steve Rogers would be standing along with King, had he not been a human Popsicle at the time (at least in the updated versions, he was still frozen).

I really didn't mind Cap's 'shield uniform.' I actually liked it better than his duds from Avengers.

However, his original WWII uniform is definitely the best... It looks a lot like his costume in Ultimates/Ultimate Cap.
