The acting sucks and why do they add adult situations???

I watched the OC for a season basically because my sister in law, who I lived with, watched it. It became interesting after a little while, but then by the end, it was like, ok, I get the point. You know dramatic things are going to happen, so its no big shocker like its supposed to be when they do.

I have to agree with you all in part, alot of TV dramas blow goats for quarters, but there are a few I like: Rome, the Beeb's Sharpe's Rifles series of movies and a few others.

I hate most of what is on television these days, both dramas and comedies.

"Days of our Lives" = sucks

that soap has gone WAY beyond belief a long time ago..but are ANY of them believable?

TV daramas put me to sleep. I can't watch soaps, because they put too much empasis on relationships, and the sexes are always pitted against eachother, and the woman always ends up crying, and that doesn't depict my real life, one bit, as I have a stiff upper lip.

it depends what you define as dramas
I dislike most of these shows but posibly my all time favorite tv show "OZ" could be classified as
a drama it was set in a prision and ran for 6 seasons and once you get past the constant violence and gay sex
you realise its a damn interesting show with great caricters altough it did wane a little for the final season

I know what you mean. Tv these days is really anoying. My sister likes al those shows I feel like gaging when I see the crap on tv.

I find shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "The OC" really lame & that most of their storylines aren't believable at all. I feel like gagging when I see a clip from either show.

I love a TV drama that focuses on a situation, like the end of the US, in the case of Jericho, or about the wealthy and the elite. I love Dallas, Knots Landing, The OC, only cause it gives me a look into a life I wish I had. I am not rich, but I wish I was.

Might get me flamed, but I don't give a s**t what people think, k?

TV dramas are an accquired taste, I guess. I like some, but HATE reality TV the most. I turely hate it. I hate reality TV.

Out of all the TV dramas out there, from my perspective, the only two dramas that are interesting enough are "Jericho" and the first "CSI." Both focus on more believable situations.

Reality TV shows like "Survivor" are being a bit of a joke.

Well the OC is not real but I like the fake fantasy world they created in the first season. If you want to see real situations watch laguna beach which is a horrible show, but is more accurate of how some people live.

By the way, a show called Friday Night Lights is pretty good and you can download the pilot for free from itunes.

I've never really been able to get into TV dramas of any kind. I generally flock towards more light-hearted fare such as comedies, cartoons, and game shows. Of course, those genres have all gone downhill considerably, while shows like "24" and "Grey's Anatomy" are probably the best things on TV right now. But I just can't get myself to sit down and watch those shows, so nowadays I don't watch much TV at all, and when I do it's reruns of older shows.

I like L&O:SVU (used to like the orginal but the new guy sucks) and Battlestar Galactica which is most of the time sorta a space drama (very little action, though I missed this season being in Korea, I think it got alot more action filled), other then that not much interests me.
