Dr. Phil always yells at people and says "That's crap!" or says crap in various non-toilet ways.
Dr. Keith is bald...... and sounds Canadian.....

Dr. Phil's one big, bald JERK who guilt-trips people on national TV and is a big fake!
Dr. Keith's BORING but is more assertive than Dr. JERK!

Somehow the people on Dr Phil seem to be so much more hopeless, and I find that funny, so I voted Dr Phil.

That is intentional I'm sure, since the show's producers get to decide who gets on the show, as opposed to a Dr. in private practice who doesn't know what he's dealing with until the patient walks in the door.

If Dr. Phil was still in private practice, I doubt he'd come off as being able to solve problems the way he does on TV.

I never thought much of Dr. Phil and still don't. I always thought he was a phony and after seeing his Get Real Challenge when my wife was taping Oprah, I realized exactly what he was(can you say LGAT?).

People need to realize these TV shows like his and Dr. Keith's, which claim to try and help people solve their problems are TV shows are alot like scripted entertainment programs in that they can do some planning ahead of time.

For example, not everyone who applies to get on the show can, so they can pick whomever will make the best show, which often means making the host look like he knows everything and has all the answers. On the shows I've seen, Dr. Phil pretty much says the same thing over and over again on each show. One size does not fit all but watching him you'd think so. That is because they can choose guests where the same size fits all.

I can't comment on Dr. Keith because I've only seen his show once, so I don't know if he does the same thing over and over again. One thing he does do is admit he's not perfect just like everyone else, which is a positive thing I guess.

What worries me the most is how blindly people follow Dr. Phil and the like.

I prefer Dr. Keith because Dr. Phil can really be annoying at times!

It's too bad that Dr. Keith's show is getting canceled!

I'd say neither as Dr Phil is annoying, and the one time I watched Dr Keith's show, it was pretty boring.
