Aah, yes, The Apprentice. The US version features businessman Donald Trump. The show has a group of 15-18 businessmen and businesswomen hoping to get a $250,000 job of running one of Donald Trump's companies. In each episode, the contestants are split into two teams who each have to do a task. The task could be selling something, making an advert or running a stall at an event. In the end, one team will win (usually because they have made the most money) and they will get a treat. On the team that loses, they will have to explain to Trump what went wrong, and eventually Trump will fire one of them.

What does everybody think of this show? I think it's a good show, it's fun to see what people can do to sell their wares, or at least advertise them in some way. I like the Celebrity versions. :)

That abomination is still on the air?

I thought they went to "celebrity" versions because normal people realized that public career suicide wasn't that bright an idea after all (imaging being on a 24/7 job interview where all your flaws get put on public airwaves).

^ Yes, a recent Celebrity series aired a month ago, after being filmed in late 2013 and being shelved until recently for some strange reason.

Know of it, never watched. Even if I didn't hate Donald Trump so much, it's still not my kind of show.

I love it, though I prefer the UK version to the US one. I find Donald Trump distasteful, and can't stop staring at his weird lip when he speaks (please, don't speak). I must have watched them all by now.

Y'know, I never noticed his "weird lip," probably because I'm too transfixed by his ridiculous comb over.

I don't like Donald Trump but I am interested in behavior. I like to watch the show to see how people treat each other. It is interesting to see the different methods people use to not be kicked off the show/win. There was one woman on Celebrity Apprentice that was not aggressive and held back (apparently in order to survive on the show). She had been on a reality show (that's what made her a celebrity) and she had been very aggressive on that show.

I find it interesting where aggression for many people leads to quickly being kicked off and with some other people they somehow hang on.

I also think Donald Trump keeps his favorites on the show.
