Saw it at the IMAX on thursday last week, AMAZING. IMAX IS WAY BETTER than standard theater.

Great movie and an excellent perception and idea of the events that occured.

BA?
I thought it was pretty good. Not much plot, but a fun movie... I was just thinking in the theater that it would be awesome on IMAX... you're lucky!

Hello,

We just got a new IMAX right down the road from my ranch in San Antonio.

I would love to see 300 on it.!

One Day I'll come home.

i think i'm gonna see it out of the local video rental,
my dad and mom and i wanna see it together which we probably cant do b/c they probably won't let a 13 y/o in the theatre for an R movie
the true history is really cool
for example

Quote:
altough extraordinary valor was displayed bye the entire corpse of spartans and thespians, yet the bravest of all was declaird by the spartan Dienekes. it is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun. Dienekes, however, quite undaunted by the prospect, remarked with a laugh "Good, Then we'll have our battle in the shade!"

It was great, may even go down as a classic.

I don't know about that. I see people bring babies to R rated movies.

I kind of want to see it but I'm skeptical because I know it's SUPER violent and I don't like excessive blood and gore. That said, I am very much drawn to the aesthetics of the film (I love the trailers), and the guy who's directing it is adapting "Watchmen" next. I loved the book "Watchmen," and while I doubt his "Watchmen" film will be that much like his "300" film, I still hope to get a vague idea of his general style as a director.

I mentioned this in another topic, but I felt it was well made film. I'm not really a comic book/fantasy film person, but more of a guy who went to it for the historical aspect so I was somewhat disappointed with the exaggerated methods the movie makers used. But as a movie, it I have to admit it was pretty well done.

I'd like to see 300 because I loved Sin City.

Unfortunately I think Watchmen is unfilmable and should be left alone.

I should like to point out that everyone who says they didn't like 300 is clearly lying. D:
