Oh. Okay. I was just making sure...
In that case, a site that I like is Project Playlist. It hunts down music files and lets you compile a playlist out of them, which can then be posted on sites like MySpace. While you can download the files via the URL's, the site does encourage you to support the artists by buying the CD. Not all of the links work, and oftentimes you'll have a favorite song that simply isn't online so you can't add it to your playlist, but ah well. My playlist is here, though it changes every so often. Again, I'm not sure it's all legal, but it's not quite like file sharing because the intention is not to provide pirates with download links (indeed, it discourages this in multiple ways), but rather to provide people the tools to make playlists for their web sites and profiles.
Another is Galbadia Hotel. This is game soundtrack heaven. One should note that many of these soundtracks can't be bought, so it's nice to have a resource for game music junkies like me.
You can always search for music at MySpace music to see if you like an artist, of course, too, which is totally legal. (Not all of the fan pages that let you download the mp3's are, but then again MySpace's sound quality isn't quite as good as CD quality, so sometimes that's just as well.)
I wouldn't link to any blatant piracy sites, but if this post is still offensive to people, then I could delete it.
