I am soooo excited! Tho it looks like they put both venom storylines into 1 movie...my friends and I thought that maybe they would stretch it over 2 movies.

SO EXCITED!!

I'm not convinced...I've heard some pretty bad things about it. I don't want to spoil it, though. What I will say is that there's...a dance number. And in a two and a half hour movie, Venom's only in the last twenty minutes. And apparently, he won't be in any other sequels. (Figures...Sam Raimi, the director, has said that he doesn't like Venom. We're lucky to have him in the movie at all.)

I'll be sure to see it for the fight scenes, anyway. I love Spider-Man...I want to love this movie. I really do.

the premieres were last week and the movies are obviously already on their way if not already at the theatres....it'd be logical for it to already be on the internet. jay and silent bob strike back got leaked about 3 weeks before the movie came out. the family guy movie was leaked almost an entire 2 months early!

and honestly....i wanna know if it'll be good before i spend my money in the theatres....because sequels tend to get crappier in quality and being the comic nerd i am....i will most likely need a good two viewings....1 to see everything that's inaccurate with the comic and another to actually enjoy the movie....and i'd like to enjoy the movie in the theatre.

kind of an involved process but i stick to it. saved me some trouble with some movies in the past....like an inconvinient truth and 300 (i thought it was pretty mediocre and realized that everyone just liked it for the violence and abs that go on forever).

I thought the first one had it's heart in the right place, but wasn't half as good as the comic. The sequel was near perfect I thought-it was light on it's feet, meaningful, told a great story, etc.

This one...I haven't read one single positive reviews about it. Everyone says there are some good elements in there, but that they cram way too much into it. Sounds like they really butchered some elements from the comic too...

But that said, I will see it. Elektra was really panned, and I enjoyed it a lot. (And likewise Batman Begins got great reviews, but I thought it was pretty bad-much better than the older Batman movies of course, but still extremely disappointing in a lot of ways).

I don't even understand why sandman would be in the film. That's just way too much stuff. And everything I've heard says they really messed up Venom.

I got to see it for free today. :D The theater did a special where if I brought my college ID I could get into Spiderman 3 for free.

It was pretty good, I'd recommend it. I don't want to spoil anything for the rest of you though.

My mom and I were going to see it this evening, but when we got to the theater, they said it was sold out as well as the next two showings. And we didn't want to be at the theater all night since I'm going to the fairgrounds at nine in the morning and a birthday party at eleven. It's the third birthday party I've been to this year. That's a new record!
