Has anyone ever compared you to Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory? My sister says he's my twin and it really gets on my nerves.

Several weeks back, an old friend (who I have known for > 30 years, since high school) said that I reminded him a lot of Sheldon. For the remainder of the evening, that old friend referred to me as "Shelly".

My mother has several times. It doesn't upset me, though. Even though I can be very different to him.

I was a biology student, and a lot of people said I reminded them of Amy Farrah Fowler (another character on Big Bang Theory)

From what I've seen of her, I don't think it's an inaccurate comparison.
