Anyone else from the Uk heard of or like these guys? They were very prominent here in the uk in the 60s, 70s and early 80s...very funny comedy sketches with some very famous people.

Here are some examples with The Beatles, Angela Rippon, Diana Rigg and Tom Jones plus a brilliant Singing In The Rain sketch.

Yeah, they were quite funny especially some of their christmas specials. I think one of my favourites was the breakfast sketch:

It was all one take as well. I remember seeing a documentary about them and they were saying that there wasn't the time to do it more than once as they didn't have long to film the show and this shot was messy and involved a lot of setting up.

I thought the newsreaders doing 'There Aint Nothing Like A Dame' was a good one.

I don't think I remember that one... I remember Angela Rippon doing 'Lets face the music and dance' though. Was that her? I can't remember if that was somebody else now and the clip with Angela Rippon that you posted isn't working.

This was a different one... cannot find it online to watch, but had all the well known uk newsreaders in sailors outfits singing 'There aint nothing like a dame'
