So does anyone else love the movies he's in? I have to say he's probably one of my favorite actors of all time...surely I cannot be the only one who appreciates his acting. Anyways hadn't seen a Jason Statham thread so figured I'd start one...so what are your favorite movies with him? I really feel like he is kind of an underrated actor.

I'm a fan...that guy can move! He's good in ensemble casts, but I've always liked the Transporter. :D

Transporter was good, though I liked the first better than the second.

Looking at my Blu-ray collection, I see 9 movies with Jason Statham: the three Transporter films, Death Race, Crank & Crank 2, The Bank Job, Chaos, and he had a cameo in Collateral. I've also seen others I don't own, like the Expendables films, The Italian Job, and War. His stuff is usually a pretty entertaining way to pass a couple of hours.

Yeah, I liked The Bank Job, but I was surprised to find that I actually liked Chaos more. I bought this double feature Blu-ray just to get The Bank Job and didn't really care about Chaos, but I ended up liking the latter slightly more.

The Italian Job, Transporter, a villain in Furious 7, and a funny spy in Spy.

He's been around for a while though, obviously. He's my favorite of the new wave of action stars(after early 90s). I definitely like him better than Vin Diesel.

I once had a dream that I was his Transporter character.

My job was to protect, of all people, Ash Ketchum.

The first movie I really noticed him in was the crime comedy Snatch, so at the time I didn't realize he was quite a fighter himself and could probably kick Brad Pitt's ass.

Later on, I saw him in a few misc. movies like The ONE with Jet Li and The Transporter. I was kind of curious about his version of Death Race, but haven't gotten around to see it.

Strangely, he seems ideal for many of the kinds of roles that Keanu Reeves lands like John Wick.

You may want to invest in one of these sometime:

Transporter actually began as a glorified BMW ad campaign, though I prefer the ancestor to Statham's A8s, the Audi 5000CS. Easily could have been the fastest thing I've ever driven and they're dirt cheap. Finding one in gloss black however could be impossible.

Death Race was far better than I and a lot of other people were expecting. Even people who typically hate Paul W. S. Anderson's movies seem to like it. It's not as good as Death Race 2000, but it doesn't need to be since it isn't really a remake. (They both involve cars, violence, and characters named Frankenstein and Joe. The similarities end there.) It's no masterpiece that you need to trip over yourself to see, but it would be my #1 recommendation for the next time you're in the mood for another Statham action movie.
