I have a thing for I am Sam's soundtrack, so my votes biased. It's been a long time since I've seen either.

Rain Man seems like the more popular choice. 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. 34% for I Am Sam.

It's closer on IMDb: 8/10 for Rain Man and 7.6/10 for I Am Sam.

I'm not a huge fan of either, but I'd take Rain Man if forced to choose.

Yeah, I'd probably go with this advice. A good soundtrack does not make a good movie unfortunately.

The soundtrack was fantastic. The array of artists did justice to The Beatles songs. Unfortunately the film itself was terrible. Rainman wasn't much better despite its Academy awards.
