Can anyone think of any classic Hollywood stars that might have been Aspies ? All I can think of is Orson Welles and Peter Sellers.

You've got me curious here as I'm an Orson Welles fan. Why do you think these two were AS sufferers?

Ed Almos

I figured they were AS after reading about their childhoods and seeing countless signs of AS .

I don't know about actors but old school directors....
Stanley Kubrick
Orson Welles
Andy Warhol

But Maybe you should read Asperger's and Self Esteem By Norm Ledgin
They have differant famous Aspies in it.

I've read that Alfred Hitchcock and Marilyn Monroe have been suspected of having Aspergers but of course no one can really confirm it as true. Social awkwardness doesn't necessarily equal autism...

Vincent D'onofrio and Crispin Glover both have been diagnosed with Asperger's.

I know this post doesn't count for this thread, but does anyone think Tim Burton has AS? :?

Greta Garbo, no doubt. I've done a LOT of research.

There has been a lot of speculation ever since they became "A-listers" that Johnny Depp and Christian Bale both are Aspies.

As for directors, Steven Spielberg has been diagnosed with AS.

I am also off topic but Wes Anderson's films are so thorough and detail oriented I would think he might qualify. Especially Rushmore and Moonrise Kingdom. That's just my opinion.

I have some suspicion director Guy Maddin might be an Aspie.
