I like watching shows such as Chicago Police and Elementary but can't stand more real stuff such as Dateline or 48 hours.

I know the dramas like Elementary borrow from real stuff but my mind takes it in differently.
Anyone relate-or ....

Calling dateline and 48 hours real is similar to calling Fox News news.

One real difference between true and fictional crime is that it might take a true crime years to be solved and the perpetrator punished - if ever - rather than having everything tied up neatly by the end of the hour.

Also it seems like vigilantism is forgiven when it's fake but in real life uh oh.
