I am sure this has been brought up before, but after watching last nights new episode of CSI, I am convinced that Grissom is an Aspie.

Previous things that made me think this: antisocial, prefers things and information over people. He has a limited amount of facial expressions and very deliberate speech patterns. Unique sense of humor. Obsesses over information and has a deep wealth of knowledge on things he obsesses on like insects. Has issues with his ears and nearly went deaf (ear related medical conditions common in the Aspie community).

Anyone else agree? Can anyone site previous theories? Or am I just one of those people who think that everyone they find similar to themselves in a significant way is an Aspie?

They actually hinted at it once in an episode. I don't remember the name of it, but you might be able to find it on Wikipedia.

The episode in which there was a murder in a library: the suspect turned witness was autistic, and Grissom's the only one who understood what to do with him.
When Grissom corrected the idea that the witness was ret*d (corrected to autistic), Nick Stokes asked "Like you?", and Grissom looked at him and just walked off.

The name of the episode is "Caged". belongs to season 2.

And to me, Sara may also be included (she's overwhelmingly like Grissom), and Hodges the lab rat may be an aspie as well.

And yes, he's a pompous ass.
