You probably wouldn't believe me after reading this but a movie with a character with Asperger traits is due in the fall.

It's called Lars and the Real Girl and it's about a delusional man named Lars who does nothing but sit at a computer every day. One day, Lars decides to strike up a relationship with a doll {a literal one, mind you} after spotting a picture of said doll on the Internet, believing that the doll is a real person.

Ryan Gosling stars as Lars in the comedy which as of now, is in the thick of editing preparing for a Toronto Film Festival push in September. If you want to decide for yourself, go to the film's page on the Internet Movie Database.

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment is producing {yay!} and MGM will distribute. {BOO!}
