Which movies in the thriller genre do you think are underrated?

I'll start by mentioning:

One Hour Photo

Disturbia

The Machinist

Premium Rush

Insomnia {2002 version directed by Christopher Nolan}

Brick

Prisoners

Zodiac

Identity

The Bank Job

State Of Play

Stoker

Rear Window is an outstanding movie it's not exactly under-rated, it is Hitchcock after all but I feel it is unappreciated, it's a true work of art and the way he puts all the threads and pieces together is fascinating, it's a limited vantage point he has to push the borders of and I love how the plot builds and builds and steams up all from that apartment interior and the window he observes his neighbours from, wonderfully acted and the pace is marvelous, very innovative and satisfying, on the edge of my seat every time!

I agree. I've read many articles that a reason why Rear Window flopped when it was released in 1958 was because audiences didn't understand Hitchcock's filming technique for Rear Window.

Red Eye

Collateral

The Insider

The Bourne Legacy

Red Dragon

Manhunter

{More great thrillers that are underrated to this day.}

That's interesting, it is such an absorbing piece of film to analyze and absorb, I always feel like I'm part of the mystery unraveling and am sitting right at that window haha, it's very magnetic.

Underrated Thrillers

well there is the cd of "soothing sounds of the forest" which, while purporting to be a relaxation video, actually makes one sit on the edge of one's seat waiting for whatever sudden interruption to the serenity may occur.
i watched that once but had to switch it off early because the suspense was killing me
