I like watching it, I even DVR the program on the Discovery Channel everyday. I like the concept of having to hitch a cab knowing I don't have to pay the fare as long as I correctly answer trivia knowledge questions. Of course it stinks if I get 3 wrong and have to leave the cab, but at least I still don't have to pay.

Best part for me is the "Redlight Challenge" where the passengers receive a multiple-answer question.

And if I made it to my destination, I would go for the video question. Double or nothing.

It would be nice if the show took place in other parts of New York besides Manhattan or heck, even in other cities. Yeah I know NY folks rely heavy on cabs unlike most other US cities. But it wouldn't hurt to try the show somewhere else. let's say Vegas or SF.

So anyone else watch this show? What about those from the UK who watched their version, or any other nation?

Yep, watch it and LOVE it. It's just such an unusual concept -- game show in a cab -- and it beats all of the reality show crap that the TV industry has been putting out lately.

It's better than most new game shows out there, those over-hyped concepts and outlandish sets can't beat a show based in a taxicab. Besides it is nice to have a show were nobody knows who the next contestant may be since they are found literally on the streets, and the fact the contestant didn't plan on being on a game show.

But at least they somehow screen them so that a drunk or a loser doesn't appear on the show, especially the After Dark episodes.

I love the Cash Cab! It is such a fun show. I like how the questions aren't too hard and I can answer most of them before the players. Having a gameshow in a cab is genius and you get a free ride, even if you lose at the end. I think that is very awesome.

Yep, it's entertaining, but I read that part of it is screened.

Ah, yes, good show! The entire thing really is an interesting concept. Someone definitely was thinking outside the box to create a show like this.

I do. Most of the questions are general knowledge questions but, every now and then, they come up with one that is way out there! It is an interesting show.

They even had a question about Roger Bannister!

It's interesting how they select passengers. But from what I have heard on some sites, there are crew in and around the city in vicinity of the cab, and the crew asks if someone would like to be on TV and if they answer yes, the cab will get a message to pick up the potential fare right on the spot.
