I've only seen Rogue One a few days ago so I need to let it sink in. The place I chose may not be it's place forever. It may go up or down. But until I either go back to the cinema or wait for the Blu Ray it'll be where it is.

5. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

4. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

3. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens

2. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

My listing goes as such:

1- The Empire Strikes Back
2- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
3- Return Of The Jedi
4- The Force Awakens
5- A New Hope
6- Revenge Of The Sith
7- Attack Of The Clones
8- The Phantom Menace

I placed A New Hope so low because the dialogue was just so indefensibly bad, but otherwise, I recognize it's the groundbreaking movie without which the rest of the series wouldn't exist.

I wish to make Jedi my number 4 and Rogue One my number 5. I didn't see it again in case you're wondering but I just recently saw the Nostalgia Critic's review of the movie and it got me thinking. Of course I may change my mind again you never know.

151. The Force Awakens

It's a bit of tie between The Empire Strikes Back and Attack of the Clones, but in the end, the ridiculous fight between Count Dooku and Yoda counts against Attack, so it goes to number two.

I thought The Force Awakens was just awful on multiple levels. As a consequence, I haven't seen Rogue One and probably won't until it comes out on DVD or Netflix or something.
