Which fandom do you think is the best for ND people? The main criteria is that fans are accepting and kind in the face of ND traits :D, and that the fandom is accessible and enjoyable (not soap operas etc.).
What are your thoughts? What's so good about the fandom?

Furries accept everyone in the fandom, so maybe that would be a good one.
I'm not a furry but I used to be, but eventually I lost interest in it, just like a lot of my past obsessions.

Everyone in the fandom are caring to everyone, some stuff is inappropriate, but if you look past those, it's a fun thing to experience.

Of course, it's one of those fandoms that a lot of people look down upon, so you'll just have to ignore the insults and criticism that people say, like "cringy" or something.

But yeah, that's a fandom that accepts everyone.

I guess Sherlock would work. An autistic person plays a central role in the show.

But others also spring to mind most notably game of thrones. Someone like Samwell Tarly in many ways is the archetypal aspie. He is socially awkward, distant from normal people but is also smart and with great knowledge of his interests.

I don't see that as something I could really get into...But I do love Game of Thrones. Not because it has a character that could be seen as a person with aspergers though, that in itself wouldn't be enough to get me interested.

I especially enjoy characters who could be seen as having ASD, probably because of my special interest in the subject. Also, I have both watched Sherlock, and read Game of Thrones, and I like them both! :D

Yeah but a realistic non judgemental approach is also good. Samwell is not the only character that likely has Asperger's their is also Victarion (Debatable), Podrick Payne and Robert Arryn.
