I heard about that. Oh, well. He hasn't done anything since Lincoln, though. I liked him in that movie, There Will Be Blood, Gangs of New York, and The Last of the Mohicans.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in Phantom Thread when it opens in December, but I agree with people who have said that it would not be surprising if he is cast in more movies in the future.

Sometimes they feel that they have given all they could to the industry, and that staying in it will not do their craft any favors.

If he feels the desire to retire with the success he has had, I say more power to him.
