If you could choose to be friends with any fictional character(s), who would it be and why?

I'd want to be friends with Oscar from Rose of Versailles because she is brave, strong and rational, but she's not too tough. I'd also want to be friends with Utena Tenjou and Anthy Himemiya from Revolutionary Girl Utena, with Utena because she's brave and strong like Oscar, and she's also quite friendly; with Anthy because she's a shy outcast like me.

Anyone from Cheers.
Mulder, Scully, and Skinner from X-Files.
Anyone from Frasier, but Bulldog would be hilarious to be around for those of you who watch the show.

The main cast of Azumanga Daioh, because they have such fun with each other.

Yugi Mutou, because I still have a box full of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and he can build some niffty decks with them, and we could try them out in duels.

Ed and Edd (Eddy, not so much), because Ed is a funny, lovable dum-dum who you cannot possibly hate, and Double-D is a brilliant inventor and I could probably have some interesting conversations with him.

Spongebob, because of his possitive outlook on life.

Almost any otaku character in any anime for obvious reasons.

I think I can actually make good friends with just about any character.

Robbie Rotten, because he's a lazy dandy who I could share many a cake with

I'd be best chums with Lord Blackadder from Blackadder, 2nd Season.

I would be friends with Romina Mondragon Rios, she's neat, I think, and I would try to be friends with Carlotta Espinoza de los Monteros. That woman is brilliant, she never ceases to amaze me! She's SMART. To have improvised so quickly, when she was kidnapped, and using Alonso's death. Things worked out better for her than she could have wanted! And she and Romina are so...they feel very strongly, something which I'm not. That's probably why most of the characters I love are villains. Many of them are more emotional than heroes, and even when they're not, they're very intelligent, as well. Also Catwoman, Luna, Artemis, Sailor Jupiter, Queen Serenity, Liliana Elizalde, Ana Gregoria Bravo, Eduardo Juarez, Alejandro Lombardo, to name only a few.

I'd fit right in with the guys on The Big Bang Theory.
