One of my favorite people ever — Georgie Henley, of Narnia fame — co-directed and starred in a short film for the 2017 Straight 8 competition. Paradise was selected, among others, to premiere in London on July 9 (Georgie's birthday, coincidentally).
I don't know a thing about art or film. All I know is that Paradise has a calming effect on me. It makes me smile to see my favorite actress create a work of her own. Even if I don't understand every word of it, the poetry is beautiful, and it makes me happy.
(I may be biased. It is Georgie Henley, after all.)
