Must see "American Movie"

You all must see this movie! The guy, who is being documented, clearly has Asperger's. He is obsessed with film making, talks non-stop in a monotone and is very intelligent. You can see that his grandfather also has it. The family gives the account that the grandfather was a scholar and also intelligent. The people document this guy as he finishes a movie, 4 years from the start of the shoot and all of his friends and the actors in his movies....it's priceless. He is blunt, brash, argumentative and bossy, but the actors in this movie, after working on and off for 4 years, stay up all day and night for two nights, to help him edit the movie. You can tell that his girlfriend and his friends think he is the greatest thing....

The film is set in Wisconsin, so of course everyone sounds like 'Fargo,' which only adds to the hilarity. The film they were making is called 'Coven,' but this guy was pronouncing it with a long 'o,' like "I dove in to the water." One of the actors tells him the correct pronouciation is like 'oven' and the guy says, "That's stupid, it sound like oven, what's scary about an oven." What???

I hope you guys see it and would want to discuss it with me. I found it very profound.

It's my brother's favorite movie! I haven't seen the whole thing but he showed me a few hilarious clips from it. I think you're right about the AS thing, especially in the part where he makes the old actor in the car do over his shot about fifty times before he just gives up and drives away.
