what movie or TV show would you want to LIVE INSIDE OF? IOW, if each movie or tv program were its own world, would you want to live in any particular of them? I myself wanted to live, variably, in "The Partridge Family" and "Star Trek" [back in the day], in "Back to the Future pt. II," and "Spirit of '76."
what say you all?

Yes, I would very much like to live in the world of Pokemon. Or at the very least be able to visit it.

I'm not sure if there are any other movie/series world I'd like to live in, will have to think about it

I'd live in the world of iCarly in a heartbeat. It's funny & I have a HUGE CRUSH obsession on Carly & the actress who plays her  :hic:

in japan a while ago, hundreds of schoolchildren were admitted to ERs with seizure symptoms after watching flashing pokemon characters bounce around the screen at a certain interval, so the broadcasters over there had to slow them down outside of the typical brain's sensitivity range.

I heard of flashing lights in Pokemon causing seizures there in like the 90s but I haven't heard of this incident. I'll have to look it up. I saw the ep with the flashing lights that caused seizures. I was fine but I get how it can affect others who are prone to em.

I have to avoid strobes like the plague because they make my brain fuzzy, which is a subtle seizure activity which can worsen with continued exposure.

I voted no, simply because the stuff I watch is pretty dark and horrifying. The last thing I'd want is to be involved with high school chemistry teacher Walter White turned meth kingpin Heisenberg in Breaking Bad. Or trapped in a Godawful haunted house, carnival, hotel, etc, like in American Horror Story. Or in a dystopian zombie apocalypse, like The Walking Dead, and Fear The Walking Dead. While Better Call Saul looks fun so far, we all know how it'll all turn ugly as it morphs into Breaking Bad.

Yeah, I love watching horror and thrillers, so most of the worlds I watch aren't ones I'd like to live in, so much the same for me.

I voted that I could think of at least one.

"love boat" is another one i'd like to live in. "play it as it lays" was a movie that i'd love to live in, hip and wealthy Hollywood types.

I'd have wanted to be one of the officers/detectives in the fictional 12th Precinct of Capt. Barney Miller in NYC in the 70s.

not implying or intending in any way a connection between your example and mine, but did you know that in the early 60s when "McHale's Navy" was on tv, that navy recruiters got deluged with phone calls from people seeking to join it, thinking they could join "McHale's Navy"?

I answered yes and there are several. Let me list them off:

- Bojack Horseman because animals are people,
- Community though I've lived most of it as a near-middle aged college student,
- Rick and Morty because aliens and super science,
- any one of the DC cartoons or live action shows (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl) because superpowers
- 40 Rock gives me the impression that writers, or even ageing interns, actually live interesting lives on that show
- Star Trek TNG since I love the notion that human curiosity and plunging into the unknown through space travel is all that needs to be pursued in a post-scarcity and post-economy future
- Tru Blood given I have this guilty pleasure of living in world inhabited by sexy vampires
- Berserk because, in a medieval setting fill with demons, monsters, magic and heroes, transcending humanity is anyone's upon paying one sacrifice to that world's gods.

This is to name a few.

* "2 and a half men". Though i'd kick Alan and his freeloading kid out fast. Also i'd hook up with stalker-Rose, not drink alcohol like charlie do, enjoy life by sitting on the porch and make music.
* Most Bushcraft/Nature shows would be interesting. Test my skillset and visit exotic locations.
* CSI (Las vegas). I'd love to be part of that gang, or be Grisom and hook up with Sara Sidle :)

And that is only what i could think of...

I also like TWD, but i would not want to live in that world. Though it would be nice to be behind a sniper rifle having Negan in the cross hairs.
