As many of us know, Disney owns Fox Entertainment now, and all episodes from the first 30 seasons (sans "Stark Raving Dad") are available on Disney+.

However, on comment boards, I have heard people say that since the Disney acquisition, they have been sanitizing the show to make it more "family-friendly". I have heard that they aren't allowing cuss words or more racy humor, which have been longtime hallmarks of the show, as well as eliminating any jokes that criticize Disney.

Is this true? (I don't have D+).

Aren't Pixar, Lucas Film, and Marvel enough for Disney?

But yes, Disney + can also eat my shorts.

So is Disney no longer allowing the racy humor and cussing on the Simpsons?

IDK, I haven't really noticed any major differences..so not sure if its just an internet rumour or if there is any truth to it.

That said I also don't really recall there ever being a lot of cussing on Simpsons. I guess I would say the most recent halloween episode wasn't as great as some of the older ones...but not sure if thats Disney interference or if they just didn't do as well this time around with the horror episodes.

I have noticed several jabs at Disney. Much like they use to make jabs at Fox and Rupert Murdock.

Sunday's story featuring Marbel (or was it Marble?) superheroes, The Vindicators (Rick and Morty nod?), could be seen as one big commentary on the studios, the public, and Internet fads like the one the accidentally puts Milhouse in the hospital. That was pretty funny.

One of the superheroes was Magnesium Man. HA!

I wish Disney would piss off and stop buying and ruining things I like! I hope they've not censored them.
