Has anybody seen this? I saw the first 3 episodes. Probably enough to satisfy my curiosity, but I'd like to know what others think.
One of the main characters is autistic and is played by an autistic actress, but it would seem the actor who plays the lead (Josh Thomas) recently "came out" as autistic (I suppose it's already well known that he's gay). Well it makes me wonder how he could have kept that secret given that he's been a performer for about 15 years, but he's from Queensland so I suppose it could happen.
One of the things that happens in Episode 3 is that they give a 17-year old character enough alcohol to get her drunk. I thought that showing this on an American TV show (without some sort of horrible consequence for those involved) violated some sort of code. Any ideas? Some of the other bits seemed a bit sketchy. The scenes between the main character and his recently acquired boyfriend seemed unusually explicit in a sexual way despite the fact that it was mostly a matter of dialog, but actually that seemed to me the least sketchy aspect of the episode (unless of course you're a homophobe).
If anybody else has seen this, please comment. If not, I recommend giving it a look just for the autism aspect.
