Mercutio was always my favorite character. If they were to re-imagine it set from about 1915 to 1930 they should have him as a lot like the characters that Harold Lloyd used to play in his old movies, but maybe even brattier.

I love Shakespeare performed in modern settings (or in this case, more recent backdrops).

That was my first thought. What a great musical, though I'd prefer to see that on stage.

There's are several new Macbeth movies, I wonder how they compare with Roman Polański's.

I'm sure Spike Lee will turn out something powerful. I wonder what he'll do with the script.

Joel Coen's first solo movie will be a new adaptation of Macbeth with Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand in the leads.
