Turn It into Anime

Japanese animated works can draw inspiration from seemingly anything, like history, public domain literature, or very frequently, Japanese comics or video games. Sometimes, however, anime has been adapted from Western animated works:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 1987 TV series) became Mutant Turtles: Superman Legend
The Powerpuff Girls became Powerpuff Girls Z
Lilo & Stitch: The Series became Stitch!

What else do you think could be remade into a good anime?

There's a Star Trek manga that I've been told is quite good. Never got around to buying a copy though.
