I think the kid is autistic.

I hope they don't make it into something tragic or hard to deal with like it was on Eastenders. She turned to drink just cos her kid wasn't NT, ridiculous.

I hope they do a neurodiversity storyline about accepting autistic people as we are.

I hope Roy - who the actor plays as aspie with a pro-neurodiversity understanding of that - gets to know the kid too. Maybe when the kid is an adult they can go bat watching and stargazing together.

I could be wrong he just seems really autistic. Like he's clever esp about the solar system, doesn't make eye contact and he talks too fast so nobody understands him.
