I actually thought that this was going to be an ABC movie when I saw the commercials. If I have time tomorrow, I'll watch it. Did you watch the first episode?

I saw it and I was rather surprised that I enjoyed it. From the previews it looked like a John Doe rip-off, but it turned out be something different and amusing. Which means it will be cancelled like all of the other shows that I liked. It's inevitable.

It's about a boy named Kyle who's probably a clone (he's got no navel, so that's why I think he might be one) and has exceptional brain capabilities. (he can use way more of his brain than normal people can, and without the causing any convulsions) The pilot ep was pretty interesting.

Come on! You didn't like John Doe? The aspie show of all aspie shows? I just didn't think that most aspies knew the show was even on, because it did not last long at all.

I saw Kyle XY, and I thought it was good. It's about as aspie as you're gonna get on mainstream television, if you haven't gotten a chance to ever watch John Doe, of course.

Oh I loved John Doe. Which is why I would have been pissed if Kyle XY had been a rip-off. It would have been rubbing salt in the wounds. It does have several similarities, but it's funny enough that I'm letting them slide and giving it the benefit of the doubt. I'm tormenting myself by watching John Doe on sci-fi channel and the sleuth channel. It's as iff one day when I watch the cliffhanger finale, there will be another episode made that will give me closure. Damn you Firefly for giving me such pitiful hope.

I think ABC Family forgot that discussions and actions pertaining to sexual intercourse aren't family matters.

They forgot that a while ago. Isn't that "Falcon Beach" show theirs?

Falcon Beach I'm sure is just as sick and demented as Kyle XY.

I'm glad that Laurie's boyfriend has become good friends with Kyle. He seems to be a person that'll be just what Kyle needs in a friend--someone who has "street smarts" (which Kyle has in short supply).

I like the show and watch it but I did think Kyle showed some aspie signs but then it turns out it's because he has Amnesia so it was like he had to relearn everything he had figured out on his own in the past like all NTs do.

I've just discovered Kyle XY (on the net as it was never broadcast in Australia).

It is so strange being able to relate to some of his experiences, like saying the wrong things and asking stupid questions... and learning social skills.
