sheol downloaded the pilot for a show called "The Big Bang Theory", which is essentially about a bunch of nerds being their quirky selves. There are some definite aspie traits displayed by some of the characters.

Some of the jokes seemed a bit obvious, but it's still pretty funny. I'd be interested to see the series.

Believe it or not, that show is being Americanized on CBS, the same network that airs The Price is Right here! Who knows how long it'll last?

Was it originally an Australian show?

Are you saying it premiered in Australia before it will premiere on CBS in America?

It hasn't premiered here (or anywhere that we know of); we downloaded it off the net. It's not a taped-off-the-telly copy; I think it's one of those things they show to a test audience before deciding whether to make an actual series. The test audience must have liked it since it's been picked up for 13 episodes.
