Does anyone watch this show? My parents watch this show a lot and I can hear it from my room. I can't bear to see what these people have become after years of poor diet and no exercise. I'm currently trying to lose weight myself.

My family has seen a lot of it. It can be really depressing at times, but has interesting moments. My favorite part is Doctor Nowzaradan.

Never seen it but I've heard of it. I thought it was cancelled after the exploited "stars" died.

My girlfriend watched almost all the eps. I've seen a bit of it if I'm sitting next to her while she's watching. As angelsonthemoon mentioned the show can be depressing at times. Me & Cass something feel really bad for the people because they're victims of bad situations & keep having bad luck with life that prevents them for following Doc Now's program. However the show can sometimes have some very funny moments because the people are pathological liars with NO common-sense what so ever. Some claim they're trying & deny cheating on their diets even though it's extremely obvious to everyone else. Like Now had a woman put in the hospital for a bit & her husband brought her a box of pizza. Multiple nurses saw her eating the pizza & her husband even ditched the box in the room next door & they both still denied that she was eating it. Unfortunately Now cant help morons.

I watched 'The Last Five Miles Of The M2' and 'Britain's Most Disgusting Family' on Monty Python's Flying Circus.

All reality TV shows are basically just spin-offs of those.

Oddly, I've seen snippets of this show through Facebook videos. Some of the people losing weight are an inspiration, others are just plain stupid. There was this one girl who went too far on her diet and lost too much weight. Doctor Now was quite concerned and prescribed a gain weight diet for her. I do like Doctor Now, he tells it like it is.

Have collided with it while surfing the cable dial.

Never really watched it though.

Tried watching "Sister Wives" though (to get a shot of voyeuristic sleaze)a few times. But couldnt stick to that either.

He wrote a book called something like "The Scale Doesn't Lie, People Do" which I'm not gonna read. He really cares & tries to get his patients to understand but Now does NOT have the patience to deal with their BS :wtg:

I've tried to watch on youtube. The episodes are all the same, including the pathetic music, and it's all grating, and I can see all there is to see in a couple minutes of skipping most of it.

I've seen a woman at the pool a couple times who barely fit through the doorway, sideways, and I admit I was too curious to not watch. She had people helping her and she seemed to enjoy herself, and it was so much more a positive thing to see than that stupid exploitative program.

I hope they help people who don't agree to be on the program?
