It's a very interesting trailer. What is Izzy doing with all those candles? The wedding cake toppers. Looks like Jim and Frenchie have gone feral. And Stede looking all butch.

Did you see the other photos in Entertainment Weekly? I'm not sure what Ed is doing to Frenchie in one of those shots!!

Awe , whatta a relief, cause am in the USA and watched closely what happened in Calif. About the shop owner whom continual would fly the LBGTQ+ flag.. inspite of harassment, who eventual was "killed " by the guy who was harassing her for flying it regularily .... sorry off topic , but it was what i was expecting with this thread title .

Jakki, Our Flag Means Death is a TV show about the pirate Blackbeard in the 18th century. It is a romantic comedy, and has LGBTQ characters in. So there is an LGBTQ connection!

It is a smash hit comedy, I'm always surprised when people haven't heard of it. And it's based on a true story. An 18th century man, Stede Bonnet, decided to give up his pampered life in Barbados, and become a pirate. So he commissioned a pirate ship and set sail. After a little while, he ran into the pirate Blackbeard, and so it began.

You must know Blackbeard was a real person. And so was Stede Bonnet. But Taika Waititi and Rhys Darby have made it into a comedy. It is a landmark in LGBTQ television history because they go there.

I think I just saw

So I watched the first 3 episodes!

Episode 1= so great to see all the characters again!

Episode 2= a big revelation but very dark.

Episode 3= mystical and beautiful.

Anyone else watched them?

Like things pirate like...etc..but the title kinda messes with my head , as me, being a Murican ...and all the Iraq
stuff and afganistan stuff..And i cannot help but think that the title of this series ..must be what people in the middleEast think when they see Our the flag of USA .. Sorry , if off topic .
