I'll warn you now: since really weird films are oftentimes explicit in some way, the films and trailers discussed in this thread will likely be intended for mature audiences.

The weirdest film synopsis I ever read was for a Korean film called "Never Belongs To Me." It recently played at Fantastic Fest, and this is their description of it: "Here's a weird one for you. And with the vogue for Korean genre film at its apex it should be just a matter of time before we get an official Hollywood remake. It has all the elements that American mallgoers love: a woman getting raped by a tiger (and a dog for good measure), a sex-maniac murderous feral helf man/half tiger who spouts philosophical nonsense, a foxy reanimated cyborg streetwalker who's just out for a good time and a guy who shoots bullets out uf his robotic penis when he comes - which is pretty much whenever he sees a picture of a ballerina. There's not a major committment to realism at work here - but that's good. This violent, transgressive imaginary world is much better than the real world, if considerably more dangerous, particularly for anyone who has sex with Mr. Penis-gun, and he just gets hornier and hornier..."

Another one is Crispin Glover's "WHAT IS IT," which basically looks weird beyond belief...here's the R-Rated trailer:

Then of course there's Alejandro Jodorowsky's films like "The Holy Mountain"....

...and "El Topo."

Personally I'm not sure I could handle watching any of these films, as the trailers alone were fairly uncomfortable for me, but there's something strangely fascinating about such strangeness.

Never seen it, but have heard of it:

The Brown Bunny, with Vincent Gallo and Chloe Sevigny.

The weirdest film I've ever seen was Eraserhead (1977) directed by David Lynch. I saw the film during the 80's when my brother and I were going through a phase of renting art house movies from the video store.

I have a Japanese film in my collection named Naked Blood, about a boy genius who synthesizes a drug which turns feelings of pain into pleasure. He then administers it to two (maybe three?) girls from his school against their will as a "clinical trial". the movie then basically degenerates into a fairly uncomfortable splatter-fest as the girls do such things as cutting out their own eyeballs with a fork and eating them, sticking their hands in a deep fryer etc. generally while orgasming loudly from the pleasure. On top of this, one of the girls is friends with a psychic cactus (?) - but this seems to have no bearing on the narrative at all.

I have a 70s kung-fu movie named Kung-Fu Cockfighter, about a young guy with a massive member who uses it to fight evil. Especially funny is when he uses it in various kung-fu moves, such as leaping high into the air and landing, cock first, on his opponents heads. The penis is pretty dodgy looking, it looks like a metre-long polystyrene loaf of bread. Strangely, so far as I can tell without the aid of subtitles, this film is meant to be serious!

Many more in my collection, I am something of an afficionado of asian trash cinema. Ironically, these films are often only considered trash outside their homeland.

Hey at least that's interestingly weird and sort of makes sense where as the others are somewhat unpleasant. I will see if I can get that one.

Gacy is a weird one. About a homosexual serial killing clown. ;)

Lynch is too weird, gotta love it.
