Have you ever been guilty about laughing at things in movies that no one else finds funny?

My examples:
1. In Return of the Jedi, when Luke took is his light saber which not only cut the speeder in half but it went spinning into a tree.

2. In the last Unicorn when the skeleton says, "Give me the wine"

3. There was a scene in Forrest Gump when he put he hands on his hips after Jenny turned him down

I really wish I could remember those instances. It has happened at home and in the theater. I know in the instances you list for Return of the Jedi and Forrest Gump, you laughed at things that were not intended to be funny, but I can see why you found them funny.
Things I laugh at, that were not intended to be funny, sometimes suggests something not intended. For instance on Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Mr. McFeely (Speedy Delivery) stops by in the last two episodes I've seen, and in one he brings a tape for Mr. Rogers. They were interesting tapes, but I found it funny because I briefly though Does he have his own porn delivery service for some of the other people in the neighborhood? I found this thought funny. Cynical, but funny. FYI - The first tape was about things changing over time. The second tape showed the show's crew building the set for Mr. Roger's home. I enjoyed them.

If I find something that is funny, that was not intended to be funny. I'll post it here.

(watching Mr. Rogers on the Mister Rogers channel on Pluto TV. He's fixing a toilet now. What a great show.)

Keira Knightleys facial expressions make me laugh a lot sometimes. Even when she’s playing a very serious role, there’s something about the way she moves her face that cracks me up sometimes.

The smile on the rich guy's face toward the end of the final courtroom scene in "The Other Side of Midnight" (1977).

That's me in the second row

I was the only one laughing and got boo'ed by everyone else in the theater.

Not movies or tv but commercials

1. There was a Spaghetti-O commercial where the coach had a very befuddled look at the end. Meanwhile, the Jingle played in the background.

2. A trident commercial where a woman was chewing gum and smiled until the gum lost its flavor

3. 90's blow-up commercial where a boy forgets his line and the people behind the scenes say "Sour Apple." The way she said it was funny.

I don't remember a specific instance, but I've always wondered why pratfalls are funny. Like if a character falls down, especially in some exaggerated way after tripping over something, it triggers an automatic laugh. Why? If it was real life you would worry that the person might be hurt, or at the very least you would be aware that it would feel painful to them even if it caused no injury. That's the opposite of funny!

If anyone here ever saw or heard of Altered States, I laughed hysterically during the scene in which the main character regresses. Apparently, this wasn't actually intended as comedy.

There was a scene in V for Vendetta when V forced several people to dress like him. When she police came and asked them to all kneel down together, I laughed.
