How do you rank the actors and actress who have played the Doctor? Here are my rankings:
15. John Hurt
14. Paul McGann
13. Jodie Whittaker
12. Ncuti Gatwa (for now)
11. Peter Davison
10. Peter Capaldi
9. Christopher Eccleston
8. William Hartnell
7. Matt Smith
6. Colin Baker
5. Sylvester McCoy
4. Jon Pertwee
3. Patrick Troughton
2. David Tennant (either Doctor)
1. Tom Baker

My first Doctor was Tom Baker so...as tradition and experience dictate...he is my favorite Doctor.

I voted, but it was really hard to pick a favorite.
When I was younger, my favorite Doctor was definitely Tom Baker, and my favorite companion was Elizabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. She wasn't my first companion though. That was Lala Ward as Romana.
When our PBS station stopped cycling through the Tom Baker years after several year, they started play the other early Doctors, William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy. the episode before Tom Baker was a treat. It was a nice time in my life.

When I was older, and Doctor Who was revived, it became impossible for me to have a favorite. The current doctor was always my favorite.

This is the correct way to start this list

Other than Baker, I don't know the old Whos as well as I do the newer ones, so my list tends to go from Baker/Tennant to Eccleston, Capaldi, Smith.
