I watched that movie with my history class after we all took the AP US government test. I loved it. Pretty much everyone else thought it was lame, but my mythology class didn't understand Disney's Hercules, so clearly, high school students are not as cool as us. I like musicals in general, but this one was about something intelligent, not like the Music Man, which was just for fun. I liked that one too. 1776 is rather long, though, so watching it with others is hard to do. I find that there are very few people who will willingly watch musicals with me, probably because I tend to imitate whatever movies I watch for about a day or two. I like that you posted the clips, they were fun to watch.
